The Tom Lowry Memorial weekend will be the last race of the WA season for Stephen Hall before he heads overseas for the winter.
Hall will head to Germany and the United States to race where he has had success in the past racing road and track.
But before he heads off, he will take on his final race of the season at the Tom Lowry Memorial Weekend.
He will be contesting the criterium on Saturday, 5 May, before taking on the road race the next day.
Hall said he was looking forward to taking on this event as he missed out in the past due to being overseas.
“I really enjoyed the criterium course at the motorplex as it is a bit longer,” he said.
“The road race was good with the rolling and undulating hills and it was a good distance and a gruelling race.
“It’s a really good hit out and great people that support.”
Although he won’t be here to race in the middle of the season, he noted down the Cyclassic as a race he would like to do again, having taken first place in 2010.
Hall said he didn’t have a fixed date to return to WA, but it will be later in the year around September or October and may consider contesting the Beverley or the Peel Classic.
