Veris Racing’s, Emily Mascaro has just returned from her inaugural NRS duties, with the gun WA rider adding to her recent European racing experience.

“For the first NRS tour I was happy with how I performed considering just coming back from Belgium and not doing much climbing. NRS is a massive step up from the local races. It’s the highest level we can race in Australia and such a great experience to race in. Your racing with the best girls in Australia. I just competed in the Battle Recharge in the Tweed Valley NSW. 3 days and 4 stages, 2 road races, time trial and a criterium. The riders are from all over Australia from Holden racing, Specialized women’s racing and many other big teams. I Came home with 12th and 3rd U23 on stage 2, and 3rd U23 and 8th on stage 4. I loved working with my team executing the race plan the best we could. Next up is Tour of King Valley in Victoria, with some gravel climbs and aggressive Racing.“

Catch Emily in action at Chidlow III – registrations close this Thursday.
